The Bild-Lilli collector`s «must have»

This picture book showcases the handmade doll clothes for the Bild Lilli made by the 3-M-Doll-Company. The book aims to answer collectors‘ constant question of the authenticity of the Bild-Lilli clothes with large size illustrations. The owner of the 3-M-Doll-Company, Martha Maar, was known to pay great attention to the quality of the fabrics used and the accurate fit of the doll clothes. She took the final inspection of the dressmakers very seriously. The book features original clothes and fabric samples from the 3-M-Doll-Company, with no claim to completeness at any time. The snaps for the clothes came from the Prym company, and towards the end of 1964, the snap fasteners typically used on all 3-M clothes were slightly changed.
